Assistant Manager

Assist and support the store manager in overseeing daily operations of the store

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as lead inside salesperson with all the qualifications of the Inside Sales Associate II (see job description)
  • Must be familiar with the company’s policies and procedures and be able to carry them out in the absence of the store manager
  • Able to process cash ups and deposits
  • Able to help train and mentor staff members
  • Able to handle customer sales and service questions in a timely and courteous manner
  • Assist employees in all facets of customer service, assisting the manager in providing direction in the completion of daily duties
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Physical Demands/Working Environment

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely without assistance
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to squat, climb, bend, reach above shoulder level, kneel, push and pull
  • Long periods of time spent working on a computer

Education/Experience

  • Must have a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two years, and have a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent suggested
